Mihri Rasim is one of Turkey's first female painters. An interesting figure who made a career in painting, which started in the last days of the Ottoman Empire and continued in Europe and the USA after the proclamation of the Republic. A courageous woman who established herself as a painter and whose works are included in the collections of various museums today. Mihri can be regarded as a pioneer for initiating art education for girls during the Westernization period of the Ottoman Empire and making a presence in the international art scene after World War II. Director Berna Gençalp documents the research of academicians who pursued the long and challenging life of the artist in Kim Mihri / Who is Mihri.
